Gu Wei had noticed that ever since Jiang Ying found out about his and Jiang Xun's relationship, he had been showing more and more concern for the two of them.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: I'm working on it. Don't be impatient. I'll do my best.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: FightOn.jpg

[Big-Clawed Crab]: Good. I love talking to intelligent people who know what's what.

[Big-Clawed Crab]: We're all adults here. Don't beat around the bush. Be straightforward with him.

[Big-Clawed Crab]: popcorn.jpg

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: I've been working all night. I'm going to sleep now.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: By the way, what are you doing?

[Big-Clawed Crab]: Filming.

"Tell him to focus on shooting his drama. He needs to make an effort to memorize his lines and not just stand around wasting everyone's time. And if he's going to stand around wasting time, tell him to make sure no one catches him wasting time. And if someone catches him, tell him not to let our parents find out someone caught him."

Jiang Xun said all this after watching Gu Wei and Jiang Ying chat for a while.

"'kay," Gu Wei agreed readily.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: Do a good job, don't mess around.

[Big-Clawed Crab]: Don't worry, I know what I'm doing.

[Big-Clawed Crab]: I like acting. When I act, my mom is happy. And when my mom is happy, everyone in the family is happy.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: ……

Jiang Xun, still watching the screen, silently echoed Gu Wei's sentiments.

After Jiang Ying got back to work, Gu Wei and Jiang Xun spent a little more time browsing around on their cell phones. Under the short video clip Jiang Xun had uploaded, the comments section was full of people begging to add the talented little star of the clip on WeChat.

"I regret it," Jiang Xun suddenly said.

"Regret what?" Gu Wei asked. He felt a little nervous all of a sudden.

"I shouldn't have uploaded the clip. I should be the only one who gets to see this beautiful Weiwei," Jiang Xun explained as he continued scrolling through the deluge of comments.

On Weibo, users had already read Gu Wei's lips and determined he was calling out Jiang Xun's name in the clip. There were all sorts of comments raving about that fact—

[God Xun, please do us a favor and ask for Weiwei's Wechat info. Thank you!]

[Couldn't you record just a little more?]

[Weiwei, I love you!!!]

[Can we get some spoilers? I want to know what you guys did on 'Escape Without a Trace', the show comes out too slow. I can't wait!]

[Jiang-ge, do you have any more little videos? Don't hide them now, don't be shy. Let us have a look.]

Gu Wei saw these comments as well and instantly understood the reason for Jiang Xun's regret. He reassured, "But you've seen it, haven't you? The kind of dance that I only perform for you."

"It wasn't enough," Jiang Xun said, unsatisfied. "You only danced a little bit last time. Besides, it wasn't what I wanted to see the most."

"Then I'll…" Gu Wei made up his mind. "I'll let you see something special."

Neither of them were sleepy, anyway. So why not try…

Gu Wei found a snippet of background music on his phone and hit play.

In time to the music, Gu Wei got up and kicked off his shoes. He stood on the rug next to the bed and began to sing, while performing a choreographed dance.

"I can go where I want to go. I won't hesitate anymore."

"Under the spotlight, I won't waver. Because in front of me, right in front of me, is you and your smile."

Without any special effects or post-production modifications, Gu Wei's singing voice was truly a little plain. But it was captivating at the same time, in its absolute pureness.

This song was one of T.ATW's title tracks, written for and dedicated to their fans. But for reasons beyond their control, they had only ever performed it live once.

The song sounded a little familiar to Jiang Xun, and the dance choreography was even more familiar to him.

Gu Wei looked directly at him when he finished. In his eyes, in his world, in that moment, there was only Jiang Xun.

This was a stage with an audience of one. Gu Wei had given this song and this dance, which couldn't be performed anywhere else, to Jiang Xun and Jiang Xun alone—

It was the dance Gu Wei had once been accused of plagiarising.

Gu Wei had listened to this song countless times. And now, after locking it up for so long, he had finally found the courage to face it once more. He had finally gotten another chance to perform the dance he'd poured his heart and soul into choreographing.

He could perform it for Jiang Xun, and Jiang Xun only.

Even though Gu Wei was smiling, even though his heart was bursting with joy, he realized his vision had grown blurry with tears. As soon as the song ended, before he could even process what he felt, he crashed forward into Jiang Xun's warm and caring embrace as Jiang Xun stood to catch him.

"Jiang Xun, I…"

There was so much Gu Wei wanted to explain, but he hardly knew where to start.

Jiang Xun shook his head and rubbed Gu Wei's back. "It's okay. I already know."

At those reassuring words, all the bitterness that had been building up inside Gu Wei for a long, long time suddenly burst forth.

"I don't want to cry," Gu Wei said, even though the corners of his eyes were already reddening as his tears began to fall. "I really don't want to cry at all."

"I know." Jiang Xun's voice was slow and even, calm and soothing. He did everything he could to comfort Gu Wei. "I know everything."

"I didn't… copy him. That was… that was my choreography," Gu Wei said. "That was my own expression of my feelings, my heart. How could he ever understand…"

Gu Wei shivered and clung tighter to Jiang Xun. "The recording we took that day during practice, the video of my choreography… my manager said it disappeared. We looked everywhere and just couldn't find it.

"People said our dances were similar… hah, similar? That was my dance, so how could they not be similar? He just…

"He performed it first. And he said it was his. So I… what could I…"

Back then, before Jiang Enyuan left Xueqing Entertainment, he and Gu Wei had been good friends. They often practiced their dancing together. At that time, T.ATW had been gearing up to release a new album. Gu Wei spent almost every day in the dance studio, working late into the night to perfect the choreography for their new music.

Jiang Enyuan had seen it all. He'd seen the way Gu Wei worked late every night, until his eyes were red and puffy. He'd watched as Gu Wei perfected the choreography step by step. And before T.ATW debuted their new song, Jiang Enyuan had switched agencies and performed that piece of choreography first.

This was the truth that Gu Wei had hidden away in his heart. He had never breathed a word of it to anyone before. The people who suspected him of plagiarism wouldn't believe him, and there was nothing his manager could do after the fact. Gu Wei hadn't wanted to stress out his teammates, so he'd never even told them what really happened.

The pain of having his choreography stolen, the sting of being attacked by the whole internet for something he didn't do. Waking up in the middle of the night, feeling helpless and worthless. These were all things that Gu Wei had kept bottled up deep down inside.

Now, with Jiang Xun right in front of him, GU Wei couldn't keep it buried any longer.

"I told myself not to think about this anymore," Gu Wei said. "But how can I…"

He still really wanted to cry.

"I'm okay now," he said, rubbing at his eyes, which were still stung red by tears. "Jiang Xun, this song and this dance. Do you like it?"

"I like it," Jiang Xun said earnestly. "I like it so much that I want to hide you away and bully you every day without letting anyone else see you ever again. But what I want even more than that is for everyone in the world to see this dance."

At those words, Gu Wei teared up all over again. "Ah, no—I'm such a crybaby. If you talk like that, I'll want to cry more."

Ever since he was a child, his family had forbade him from crying. Even when he faced challenges that felt insurmountable, he'd had to fight back his tears. Now, Gu Wei couldn't help but feel embarrassed and ashamed.

"So don't talk anymore," he mumbled.

In the wake of his emotional outburst, Gu Wei felt almost like he was in a trance. He looked up and realized, from that angle, the curve of Jiang Xun's lips looked especially handsome. So much so that the sight of him washed away all of Gu Wei's rationality.

Jiang Xun looked like he wanted to say something else, but Gu Wei felt a sudden burst of courage come over him after pouring out his heart and soul. He stepped forward abruptly, moving even closer to Jiang Xun, and gave him a firm push, making him sit down on the edge of the bed.

"Ge, don't speak," Gu Wei repeated. "I'll lose face again if you say anything else."

He bent down, placing one hand on Jiang Xun's shoulder, and touched his lips to Jiang Xun's. When Jiang Xun didn't react to that, Gu Wei felt even bolder. He brought one knee up to the bed, between Jiang Xun's legs, and licked over Jiang Xun's lower lip.

Jiang Xun's breathing grew sharper, heavier.

He didn't say anything, and Gu Wei no longer felt so miserable. He was feeling good, about this and about himself. His courage was rising by the second, and he lowered his head to bring his lips to Jiang Xun's again.

"What are you doing?" Jiang Xun murmured. His voice was steady and low.

"Didn't someone tell me to hurry up?" Gu Wei answered. He didn't know that his own cheeks were still stained by tear tracks, and he didn't know his eyes were still a little red. He didn't know that to Jiang Xun, he looked exceptionally beautiful.

"This isn't how you kiss. This is just teasing, just messing around." Jiang Xun reached out and grabbed hold of Gu Wei's wrists. "If you want to learn, I'll teach you."

Gu Wei was starting to come back to his senses. A wave of embarrassment crept over him, but it was just then that Jiang Xun yanked him onto the bed by the wrists and pressed him down on his back. Jiang Xun clasped both his wrists in one hand and pinned them to the bed above his head. He cupped Gu Wei's cheek with his other hand and stroked a thumb over his jaw, urging him to part his lips, before he bowed his head and kissed him on the mouth.

That familiar woodsy, floral scent enveloped Gu Wei once more. He felt dazed and disoriented again, and he could only lie still and let Jiang Xun kiss him. It was the first time he realized what really kissing someone felt like, and it was nothing like what he had imagined before.

His whole body felt like it was bending and melting under Jiang Xun's touch. Even if Jiang Xun hadn't held him down against the bed, Gu Wei wouldn't have been able to move or resist. When he started to pull himself out of the daze that had consumed him, he heard all sorts of tiny little sounds spilling from his lips.

It was only when his breathing had grown shallow and uneven that Jiang Xun released him.

"I never knew," Jiang Xun murmured, "that Weiwei would be this alluring after he cries."

Gu Wei had been rendered completely speechless. The sensations that had engulfed his body were still wrapped tightly around him. He couldn't move at all, as though he'd really melted into a puddle, and he could only try to scold Jiang Xun with his gaze.

"I've decided," Jiang Xun continued, completely unfazed by Gu Wei's look of disapproval. He lifted a hand and pressed a thumb to the corner of Gu Wei's lips. "You can let everyone in the world see you dance, but don't ever let anyone but me see you cry."

Gu Wei didn't know when he dozed off. After working on their variety show all through the night, he had already been exhausted when they got to the hotel. And after baring his heart to Jiang Xun, finally mustering up the will to tell Jiang Xun the whole truth, and after kissing and being kissed… he was able to fall soundly asleep, clutching at the hem of Jiang Xun's clothes.

Yi Qing had stayed up training until five in the morning. She planned on sleeping in late, straight through to the afternoon, but was suddenly woken up by a burst of fierce vibrations from her cell phone.

[sunny]: Boss?

[sunny]: You're cutting into my beauty sleep, y'know.

[100K Volts]: Let me ask you something.

[sunny]: Go for it.

[100K Volts]: Damage control, comment control, ranking battles. How do you fans do it?

[sunny]: GroundhogScream.jpg

[100K Volts]: Teach me.
